Another Life

In another life

we are together

festivals, travels

just being together

and happy.

A happy family

each holding the hand

of a child.

in our time together

I saw glimpses

of this other life

and thought that maybe

just maybe

it might actually happen to us.

Instead, it was not so

and that life

was simply that

another life

in another time.
