To Journey or Give up?

It would be so easy

to resign myself

to an easy fate.

I could stop school

just find a job

and settle down.

I could end this journey.

I feel tired.
I feel finished.

I feel like giving up.

But I can’t.

No matter how hard I try

I cannot resign myself to mediocrity.

If I surrender

everything I sacrificed

everything I’ve let go

will be in vain.

And so, I journey on.

Because I cannot do anything less.

This paths leads to what

I was called to do.
