Blindsided Hug

Where the hell did this come from?

I was just blindsided

like some random Tuesday

but on a Sunday.

I felt my heart skip

when we hugged.

My first hug in months.

I could have lived in that moment

forever.

And now all I want

is to hug you again

and feel that joy

that can only exist

in our eternal, perfect moment.
